Crunchy Kale Chips πΏ
That delicious Kale and how to cook it into crunchy chips that everyone loves. π
You can use these as sandwich toppers or encorporate them into salads, or eat them on their own! π
Some of the health benefits of kale are Vitamins: A, for eye and bone health and to help your immune system, C, for colds and disease prevention, K, for bone development, and B, for brain development, along with omega-3.
One cup of cooked Kale a day, is a whopping 15%-18% of an adult's calcium needs! π€―πΏ
*Did you notice I didn't say Cheese or Milk..
— I used an 8 by 10 pan and filled the bottom with Kale (2 cups)
— 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over the Kale, ensuring an even spread *use your hands
— 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt
— 1 or more teaspoons of Cayenne Pepper/Paprika (something you enjoy the flavour of and has a kick if you enjoy spice) if you don't like it spicy, less is more but if you're like me, I did 3+ spoons evenly spread on the Kale.
— You can also do Salt and Vinegar (1 teaspoon).
— Throw them in the oven for 5 minutes, checking them.
— Stir the pan after 5 minutes.
— Turn the oven up to 375 and put them back in for 1-2 minutes ensuring you're watching them.
Take them out and check they're all crunchy! Let them stand for a minute but in all reality they're good immediately!
